As a Technology Advisor, you will get a first-hand look at cutting edge technology, evaluate these client initiatives for eligibility as SR&ED projects, and advise clients on how to improve their processes to maximize their ability to access funding. You will report on project objectives, advancements, and activities. Every assignment will involve close collaboration with the client’s R&D team and a TSGI Financial Analyst. In addition to the rewards of being an important player in leveraging clients’ projects, you will have the opportunity to be involved in Calgary’s technology development landscape.
You have a degree and experience in science or engineering (PhD or MSc preferred) and a keen interest and fluent understanding of IT and software development. You have strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, and a passion for being part of the progression of technology. Technical writing comes easily to you. Your congenial, confident personality contributes to your ability to advocate for your clients and support technical opinions in discussions with your technical counterparts within the SR&ED program. Your enthusiasm for technology and science will underpin a dedication to serving your clients and lead naturally to developing positive business relationships.
